DM - Alatair Keep 2.60 MB This gothic castle is a beautifully styled map. The flow is centralized so it handles small numbers well, but there are enough halls to keep larger groups busy. It might be a little too purple for some people, but if you don't mind the color it's a very good map :)

DM - Jumping to Contusions 7.40 MB Clever name, clever map. The styling of this map is truely unique, kind of a gothic-techno combination set on a cliffside. It's far too large for smaller groups but for a higher number of players it makes for an excellent game. It is mostly set inside, but there are some areas where it's possible to take a plunge off the edge.

CTF - Meltdown 2.20 MB This CTF map is good for just about any number of players. The two bases are divided mostly by bridges, so defense gets very interesting. It's really the bridges that make this map so unique and fun to play in!

DM - Brothers in Arms 5.00 MB This deathmatch map is mostly gothic with a slight touch of techno. The flow is centralized fairly well, but the map's size lends it to larger numbers of players. The weapon and item placement is done well.

DM - Drift Away 8.40 MB Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe this guy! Not only is it good looking, it also plays very well with just about any number of players. There are some very unique elements which keep the map interesting. This mapping contest winner is described in much more detail in the contests area.

CTF - Theoretical Probability 3.40 MB An excellent CTF map with large, open areas and good flow between bases. Defense is a challenge so the games are always interesting. Great for larger numbers of players. This mapping contest winner is described in much more detail in the contests area.

CTF - The Obliviator 4.30 MB This unique CTF map is pretty much perfect for any number of players; the large size offers enough room for a large crowd while the quick flow and open spaces allow for a smaller number of players. The map flows very nicely and the weapon/item placement is great. Definately a must-have!

DM - Burial Grounds 8.90 MB This is not only a great looking map, but a great playing map as well. The wide-open spaces are great for a 1v1 or small number of players, however larger numbers of players would have a bit of a problem. The weapon and item placement is good. This is a map no Quake 3 player should be without, for the novelty if nothing else.

DM - House of Shannara 2.10 MB This church-like map has a lot of unique qualities that make it stand out. The gameplay is great for a larger number of players... the map consists of many hallways connecting one large, central area. It flows nicely, so no one should ever be lost from the crowd.

DM - Re-Gib Coliseum 4.70 MB This is a fairly large map that would definately not be good for a smaller number of players. It flows nicely, but there are many halls to be lost in. One unique feature is the placement of the BFG: in a cell with no way out. That should make for an interesting game :)

DM - Iced Earth 3.90 MB This well designed map bears a striking resemblance to Bless from Quake 1. The design is very nice, the flow is perfect for tournament play or with a small group of people. The unique snow and slippery ice add a nice touch to the gameplay. The Quake 3 Stuff logo and name are a overused, even the BSP's file name bears it, but it is still a good map despite this downfall.

DM - Blood Run 1.80 MB Anyone who has played Quake 1 should remember ZTN3DM1... this is a wicked remake of the classic tournament map. The gameplay, flow, and weapon placement haven't changed one bit... it's an excellent, wide-open map perfect for any number of players.
