DM - Jean Larrivee Acoustic Guitar Factory 4.60 MB
This interesting find is based on a guitar factory in Canada. There are a few open spaces, but most of it consists of smaller halls and rooms. It's quite large and requires a lot of exploration, so only plan to use it in populated games.

DM - M3000 Gaming Center 2.20 MB
This map is quite large, although the flow brings most of it together into two main rooms. It features a lot of vertical movement, which makes for an interesting game. There is a combination of tight halls and large, open spaces, and plenty of weapons and items to choose from.

This map just goes to prove that something doesn't have to look beautiful to be good! It consists entirely of one fairly small room with a couple of ramps and platforms. There is a Quad, a Regeneration, every weapon in the game, and more. Can you say LAN party?

CTF - On the Rim 5.70 MB
This is a small CTF / Team Deathmatch map that consists of a giant room with a base on each end. It's great with small teams, especially a game of 1v1 CTF. The texturing and lighting is very well done, and the lower gravity gives it a unique feel. Weapon placement is good, and most navigation is done through jump pads. It's very similar to a space map -- except you can't fall off of this one, and there are plenty of places to hide.

DM - Aqua Arena 3.60 MB
This is another pretty interesting map that is based in an underwater facility of some sort. The layout and brushwork is simple, yet effective. The map's size makes it best suited for a smaller number of players, maybe even a good 1v1 match. There are a lot of weapons and ammo, and plenty of items like a Quad and an Invisibility to keep things interesting.

DM - The Birth Machine 11.5 MB
This is a pretty small, yet very entertaining map. The whole concept of it is poetic and hilarious at the same time... you can actually be "birthed" through the giant canal in the middle. It's a very open map with nowhere to hide, so it keeps you on your toes. Great for smaller numbers of players. Good luck camping on the railgun platform... there's protection against it. The custom music matches the map perfectly.

DM - The Guns Of Navarone 8.90 MB
As with most of Quint's maps, this one is pretty unique. An emphasis is placed on acceleration pads, so you spend a lot of your time in the air. In fact, three of the pads are actually guns that launch you from one side of the map to the other. A lot of your game is going to be running, which is a good thing... it's fast-paced and it keeps you attentive.

DM - The Wisdom Machine 8.70 MB
This one can handle quite a load of players, because it's fairly divided despite the fact that it's a "space" map. There is enough ammo to go around, and there are plenty of places to hide from your enemy... although, since there aren't any closed rooms, you won't be able to stay hidden for long. There's a Quad that is fairly easy to get to, but it has a catch. There is custom music to go along with it.

DM - Alien Warehouse 8.00 MB
This tech map features a bounty of customized textures, models, and sounds. It all adds up to a clean, unique atmosphere with good item placement and centralized flow. There are a lot of large areas connected by many smaller halls... so, while the flow is good, this one is definately best for larger groups.

DM - Depostation 74 1.20 MB
This is a great tourney map featuring quite a few larger rooms connected by doors. The flow is very centralized, so you're sure to see your opponents a lot. The weapon and item placement is very well done, as well as much of the map's texturing and brush work.

DM - Hong Exploder 3.20 MB
This one's a keeper, but definitely not for 1v1. It's simply huge, and the flow is not very centralized, so only a larger number of players (4-5 at least) would really be able to see much action. The atmosphere is amazing, there are a lot of creative aspects to it. Weapon and item placement is superb.

DM - Stauf's Last Stand 11.4 MB
If a Nine Inch Nails soundtrack and flying chairs are your thing, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. This map is probably the most unique we've seen... it's fairly small, so it's good for a 1v1 or a small group of people. The quarters here are very close. Among the surprises in this mansion? A floating pool table. You really have to see it for yourself. Perhaps the most unique aspect of this map is the fact that it was created by a legally blind designer, David Law.
