In Dutch, the word denken captures the spirit of the intellectual mind; it literally means to think or reason. At DenKen Design we believe this encompasses the way we treat our customers and manage our business: thoughtfully. Through the years we have treated our many clients with the unique respect and care they deserve, taking the time to consider each of their individual needs. We thought that you might like to learn a little more about our company, so we are offering you this opportunity to meet some of our management and learn more about our history.

Our Values

At DenKen Design we place a large importance on the way that we work with our customers. The old adage "the customer is always right" may be a bit of a cliché, but we believe it encompasses a very important aspect of business. We are careful to treat each of our customers with individual care and respect, and we try our hardest to cater to their specific needs. We understand that every person and every business is different, and thus we maintain the flexibility needed to truly place the customer first.

We provide each of our clients with high quality, professional products and services in a timely, friendly manner. We open ourselves to everyone by offering simple, user-friendly services and very affordable rates.

Our History

In 1996, DenKen Design was founded by Dennis J. Kennedy, Jr. under the name DenKen Productions. Based in Orlando, Florida, DenKen Productions created many small websites in its first few years, most notably a site created for the city of Orlando which contained information on its historic home districts.

Since it was founded six years ago, DenKen Design has been growing in both size and quality of service. As we move forward into 2002 we are able to provide our clients with better products and services than ever before.

Our Management

Dennis J. Kennedy, Jr., the founder and owner of DenKen Design, has had many years of experience in the field of web design and business management. In addition to handling most core functions of the company, he manages our technical department, which includes all server administration and hosting functions. He has technical certifications in several fields including Windows Server Administration, HTML, and Internet Business Skills.

Eric R. Kennedy, our design department manager, joined the DenKen team in 1998. Eric is in charge of the creative design processes for all of the DenKen Design websites. He has had many years of experience in the creative design field and has technical certifications in the fields of Windows 98 and HTML 3.2. He also manages our company's website.

Mary Jane Schilling, our public relations director, is in charge of advertising, public meetings, conferences, and all other public functions. She has been working with DenKen Design since 1997, just one year after it was founded.
